Case Study #6
Michael and Ashley are in their early 40s and live in Oregon.
Like many young people born in the 80’s they don’t know much about investing and saving for retirement.
They want to understand how to do that to set themselves and their young child up for the future.
This couple wanted to set up a college savings plan so they had the money saved, when the time came, to send their child to college, debt free.
We had multiple meetings with Michael and Ashley in order to create a Baseline Financial Plan and Roadmap to Retirement for them, so they knew they were on the right track.
During this process we found multiple areas within their budget to free up additional cash each month which they could add to their savings.
We helped them set up a College Savings plan and calculated how much they should save on a monthly basis to ensure college was paid for in approximately 13 years.
Michael and Ashley are building that College Fund knowing they will be able to afford to send their child to College.
As we’ve done for Michael and Ashley, let’s make the next success story yours.
